Guidance and Careers Studies Part 1

This Guidance and Career Education Part One AQ course empowers new guidance counsellors to transform their practice through an equity lens, moving beyond linear career models to validate diverse pathways and Indigenous ways of knowing. Grounded in decolonization and inclusive pedagogy, participants will learn provincial policies, legislation, and collaborative communication strategies to dismantle systemic barriers. By examining transitions and student success initiatives, counsellors will strengthen their role in creating safe, supportive communities that prioritize holistic mental health and learning for all students.
