Guidance and Careers Studies Specialist
This Guidance Specialist AQ equips experienced Guidance Educators with the skills to lead, mentor, and support their Guidance teams while advancing equitable, student-centered practices. Grounded in an anti-oppressive, solution-focused, and inclusive approach, the course deepens your ability to identify and dismantle systemic barriers, create responsive pathways, and foster environments where all students can thrive.

To register, candidates must have the corresponding Part 2 AQ listed on their OCT Certificate of Qualification and Registration. Additionally, candidates require a minimum of 388 days (two years) of successful classroom teaching experience with one year of experience in the AQ subject area, verified by a Supervisory Officer/Official.
A completed Statement of Successful Teaching Experience needs to be submitted to aq-admin@osstf.ca at the time of course registration.
