Special Education Part 2
This course will provide you with the opportunity to extend and apply your knowledge and skills to support students with diverse learning needs within legal frameworks and through inclusive, responsive, and collaborative practice. Through critical reflection, dialogue, and inquiry activities rooted in equity, anti-racism, and anti-oppression, you will acquire practical strategies for integrating neurodiversity-affirming approaches, leveraging assistive technology as a pedagogical tool, using assessment data to inform programming, and supporting transitions through collaborative planning.

To register, candidates must have the corresponding Part 1 AQ listed on their OCT Certificate of Qualification and Registration.
Additionally, candidates require a minimum of 194 days (one year) of successful classroom teaching experience, verified by a Supervisory Officer/Official. A completed Statement of Successful Teaching Experience needs to be submitted to aq-admin@osstf.ca at the time of course registration.
